Hi Mate
Here we go, listed a few thoughts below.
Its mainly a culmination of tedious bits, but i think they're worth doing.
Business Cards.
What stock you using for the duplex, i would recommend two 175gsm.
How about having an off white back? If you can afford it why not pot the contact details on the back, bottom left aligned.
Think you can afford to tighten the leading on the type, tracking looks good.
What type is the logo based on (Helvetica Neue?) What do you think to the 'n' being thinner in weight to the 'a' and '&', maybe it should be fattened up a bit. Also should the x height line across all three letters.
Think i prefer the neutral colours on the business card, i would continue this on the portfolio.
Portfolio
All the work is looking strong ma man, but like you say get those projects shot. I would avoid any images that start to repeat themselves.
Its a good amount of type for the description, just look at how its lining off the images.
I dont think you need to remind people on every page who you are at the bottom. A good starting title page with contact, or a contact page at the end would be enough. This will give you chance to make images bigger.
Where you can, in the descriptions use graphic design terms. So for the Smoothie Company talk about the Brand identity, Logo lock up, colour palette, tone of voice e.t.c.
Check your consistencies, the page margins change and also the spacing between images.
You done anything else for the smoothie company, would be great to do some guidelines for them, colour palette, typography, use of logo, type sizes.
Ok mate let me know how you get on, not trying to be brutal here just giving you things to think about.
Its not gospel.
Hope this helps you out a bit.
Let me know your thoughts.
Cheers
Jimmy
